Yellow-legged clearwing still on the wing

Yellow-legged clearwing is still on the wing – I had 4 come to the Hyl lure whilst trying around clumps of Raspberry at the golf course this afternoon.

Shingle Street SMG meeting 30-07-2011

A clear sky and cool temperatures resulted in a poor night for moths, with 41 species noted from 8 traps with nothing in high numbers. Best moths recorded were Reed dagger, Silky wainscot, Fen wainscot, Pima boisduvaliella and Scrobipalpa nitentella.
