Looks good to me Paul. The species seems to established itself well in Suffolk now.
Thanks Raymond. Do you think it needs dissecting to be 100% certain or is general impression and flight period good enough?
Paul, the moth is definitely schalleriana, no dissection needed. Those small patches of raised scales are a bit of a give-away for me. Colour right too. Regular here with me now and a species spreading in the county. So you can release it if you want.
Good-o. Will liberate the moth and chalk up my first addition to the site for 2018
