Spuleria flavicaput

Just found a Spuleria flavicaput in my greenhouse here this evening, first time I’ve ever seen this species. I see from UK Moths there has been a relatively recent Suffolk record, Suffolk moths shows quite a few old records but no recent ones so a good moth to get.
Shows you can find good moths anywhere!

I had one on a very warm June evening last year here in my garden at Gorleston. There is no wild hawthorn in the immediate vicinity but we do have some Crataegus ‘Paul’s Scarlet’ street trees across the road so I presume it came from one of them.

Does this mean that I need to arrive on-time tomorrow evening?
