First catches of the season/ day sighting

I put one trap out last night. My first effort this season. A ten moth, six species total for the night with two species at my living room window not the trap.
MV; Tortricodes alternella, Pale Brindled Beauty, Chestnut and notana or ferrugana.
Window; monodactyla and heracliana.

Today I found a Twenty Plume moth flitting around in an outbuilding

Did a site visit to Belton Common last night (24th) Keith and had what was almost certainly A. ferrugana x 2, as the trap was set under pure oak woodland. Also 2 x Ypsolopha ustella. Both of these new for the year. 8 species in total. The night before, I had Agonopterix ocellana and Small Brindled Beauty on another site. Looking forward to arranging more site visits with you soon.
