Last moths for the year?

Well, that’s it for me for this year I think. Traps have been put away now, ready and waiting for the spring when it arrives. All expected species for the time of year now recorded, and with very cold nights forecast I don’t think I’ll be trapping. My last records for the year will probably come from around the security lights at the golf clubhouse. In fact my most recent moth sightings are from there, on the 1st December: Mottled umber (7), Scarce umber (2), Winter (2), Northern winter and a November moth. Now to wait for the first moth of 2012!
