Most of you would have heard about the spectacular Crimson Speckled caught by Clive Moore at Dunwich Heath on 13 October. There has also been a single Spoladea recurvalis at Landguard on 11 October (N. Odin) and Silver-striped Hawk-moth last weekend in Hollesley (R. Watson) – the latter only the third County record since 1958 when the dear late Rafe Eley famously caught his at Nowton.
