Indoor meeting – date for your diaries

I’ve booked Bucklesham Village Hall for Saturday 28th March 2015 for the annual indoor meeting. We have to be out a half hour earlier than previously (at 4.30pm) so I’ll be thinking about starting the meeting earlier. One option is to start the meeting in the late morning, break for lunch and then carry on till mid-afternoon. Let me know what’s your preference. Further details here when they’ve been finalised.

    Many thanks Tony
An 11:00 start would be beneficial for me.

Anyone thinking of attending and wants me to bring any pre-orders, let me know in plenty of time. I will not be bringing other items to sell on the day other than pre-orders.

    All the best

Late am start sounds fine. Might be an idea to let the pub know if this does start am.

My apologies. I’ve just realised I am unable to attend on 28th! So best ignore my previous comment.

    Hi Tony,
Personally I would prefer the meeting doesn’t stop for lunch at the Pub and I don’t mind what time it starts.

I’m happy for it to start 10.30 – 11am with a break for lunch.

Last year, doors opened at 1.30 and meeting began at 2.00. Why not open doors half an hour earlier at 1.00 and start the meeting (promptly) at 1.30. Then there is still the option of the pub lunch for those who want to, but half an hour earlier than usual. I think the danger with having a long break in the middle of a meeting is that anyone that turns up not expecting it is likely to drift off home after the first session.
But if its the preference to have a break, I will go along with that.
