Small elephant hawk does seem to be having a good year with me, I normally get 1-2 a night but this year some nights I have been seeing 4. We also had a lot at the Knettishall heath moth night too, although both my site and Knettishall are more typical habitats for the species. So maybe with the warm weather they are moving around a bit.

You are welcome to some of my Privet Hawk-moths as we have rather a lot this year. We have been waiting for the Pine H-m but it finally turned up last night. Some good migrants around at the moment, both macro and micro, looks like July/August could be good for them this year.
