Flight Period : Single-brooded; late May to early August

Larval foodplants : Bilberry, possibly heathers

Records : No recent records

Morley's Final Catalogue : The sole Suffolk capture of this conspicuous Snout seems that effected at Brandeston about 1850 by the Revd. Joseph Greene.
