Habitats : Fens and marshy fields, apparently favouring the drier more sparse areas

Flight Period : Single-brooded; late May to June

Larval foodplants : Ribwort Plantain, Meadowsweet and possibly other low-growing plants

Records : No recent confirmed records

Morley's Final Catalogue : Two males, taken, new to Suffolk, at car-light on the Breck near Mildenhall on 18-9 June 1932 (Trans. ii, 86; cf also EMM. 1900, p. 116).One male at car-headlights near Worlington a few years ago (Burton 1936).

Wingspan details : Forewing male 15-16mm, female 9-11mm, Wingspan 26-34mm
