Habitats : Broad-leaved woodland, heathland, scrub, fens, hedgerows and gardens

Larval foodplants : Wild Honeysuckle and cultivated honeysuckles

Morley's Final Catalogue : By no means an uncommon species about Ipswich, at Bentley Woods, Holbrook, &c; Bury, Stowmarket, Needham; Monks Soham occasionally (Vinter, Mly); Worlingham (Gs), Gorleston (Mr), Hopton, Aldeburgh.

Wingspan details : Forewing 15-18mm, Wingspan 32-40mm
