Distribution and abundance : Coastal and not uncommon where it occurs

Habitats : Coastal saltmarshes

Flight Period : Single-brooded; June to August

Larval foodplants : Flowers and leaves of Sea Aster

Morley's Final Catalogue : Found only at Aldeburgh by Hele till September 1933, in which month a male flew to light in the middle of Southwold (Mly); larvae occur at Dunwich (Blair), Walberswick (Btn), Southwold (Mr).

Wingspan details : Forewing 19-23mm, Wingspan 45-52mm
