Habitats : Fens and marshes, open reed areas rathern than dense reed-beds. Occasional wanderer.

Flight Period : Single-brooded; mid-May to mid-July

Larval foodplants : Common Reed

Morley's Final Catalogue : "Suffolk and Norfolk to Hunts, local in fens; central Europe; June" (Meyrick, 66) - whence is this record? Not in Bloomfield. Cambs only, sec. Stainton.
