Larval foodplants : Various grasses

Morley's Final Catalogue : In profusion at Sudbury in 1836 (Ent. Mag. iv, p. 233); and still all over Suffolk from Bentley to Gorleston.

Wingspan details : Forewing 14-17mm, Wingspan 32-40mm
