Habitats : Wet and lightly wooded heathland

Flight Period : Single-brooded; late July to August

Larval foodplants : Creeping Willow, Aspen and birches

Records : No recent records

Morley's Final Catalogue : This species was added to the Suffolk List in 1931 by Mr. F.T. Crisp, at Hemingstone on 2 August 1928 (Trans. i, 234).

Wingspan details : Forewing 12-14mm, Wingspan 26-29mm
