Records : Bradfield Woods (A Prichard 1999-2000 & 2003-5), Barton Mills (H E Chipperfield 7.vi.1965), Brandon (C Hart, 29.v.1997, a pupa) and Lakenheath (R F McCormick, 15.vi.1986)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Common at Dodnash Wood in Bentley (Harwood); larvae at Glemham Magna, below burdock leaves, rolling up the white down as they feed (Bloomfield). larvae common on burdock at' Timworth in 1911 (Nurse); taken at Tuddenham (Waters).
