Local Status : Presumed rare migrant (SMP Status 4)

Distribution and abundance : Singleton records from Landguard on 23rd and 24th July 2010, possibly the same individual.

Larval foodplants : Usually found on Hedge Woundwort Stachys sylvatica

Flight Period : Double-brooded, a prolonged summer brood from June into August and then an over-wintering brood from September to April.

Wingspan details : Wingspan 18-23mm
