Larval foodplants : possibly Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris) and possibly other conifers

Morley's Final Catalogue : Although Dioryctria species are quoted in Morley, due to the poorly understood nature of this genus, it is probably safer to discard the records

Wingspan details : Wingspan 27-33mm
