Habitats : Grassland, marshes and saltmarsh

Larval foodplants : Common Saltmarsh Grass (Puccinellia maritima) and other saltmarsh grasses, on the stem bases

Records : Landguard (N Odin & M Marsh, 1997, 1999, 2000-2, 2004), Bromeswell Green (A Watchman, 27.vii.1979), Dunwich Heath (M Cornish, 7.viii.2004), Havergate (SMG, 1.vii.2005), Lakenheath (D Young, 1.vii.1995), Maidscross Hill (R Parker, 15.vii.1995), Minsmere (C Anderson, 1994 & 1995), Orfordness(J Askins, 2002-4)

Morley's Final Catalogue : This salt-marsh species was found to occur in limited numbers at Aldeburgh in 1891 (EMM. 1892, 254).
