National Status : Migrant

Local Status : Uncertain (SMP Status 4)

Flight Period : Single-brooded; July to August

Larval foodplants : mosses on branches of trees - old apple, plum and poplar

Records : Goater [1986] mentions that four specimens were taken at light at Haslingfield, Suffolk b A. F. Griffith in 1877 to 1878, however Haslingfield is in Cambridgeshire and not Suffolk. There is also a record from 'near Haverhill, Suffolk' from the Entomologist's Record Vol. 66 page 54, although I have not yet chased down the details of this reference.
