Local Status : Resident (SMP Status 3) Distribution and abundance : Local, primarily in the east of the county Habitats : Grassland, marshes and fens Flight Period : Single-brooded; late July to mid-August Larval foodplants : various grasses, including Common Saltmarsh-grass (Puccinellia maritima), Small Cord-grass (Spartina maritima) and Sheep's Fescue (Festuca ovina) Morley's Final Catalogue : Local in marshy flats: Blaxhall (Hkr) ; scarce in 1892 at Aldeburgh salt-marshes and found also at Southwold in 1897 (Ctw); Lowestoft (Bd); Fritton at light in 1935 (Mly); Beccles (Ctw); Bungay (Mn).
