Morley's Final Catalogue : Observed commonly sitting by day on Heracleum flowers in June, July and September. Quite frequent about Ipswich at Kersey, Bentley Woods, Wherstead, Bramford where it once occurred in Profusion on Conium maculatum, and Foxhall (Mly); Hemley (EMM. 1904, 80); Kenton and Monks Soham paddock on umbel-flowers, Wetheringset, Dennington: Blaxhall (Hkr); Walberswick and Southwold (Ctw). Unnoted in north or west.
