Flight Period : Single-brooded; May to June

Larval foodplants : Possibly on Wild Plum (Prunus domestica) or oaks (Quercus) or hawthorns (Crataegus)

Records : Minsmere (C Anderson, 1995)

Morley's Final Catalogue : First found in Suffolk about Dodnash Wood in Bentley on 7 June 1936 by Mr. Jack Goddard: only some five miles north from Essex.

Wingspan details : Wingspan 10-14mm
