Habitats : Woodland, fens, marshes, lakesides and sandhills

Flight Period : Single-brooded; July to August

Larval foodplants : In the shoots of willows (Salix), particularly Sallow (Salix caprea), Creeping Willow (Salix repens) and Osier (Salix viminalis)

Records : Thornham (P Kitchener, 4.viii.2003)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Beaten from sallow at Fritton on 13 August 1936 (Morley).
