Habitats : Coniferous woodland

Flight Period : Single-brooded; June to July

Larval foodplants : On the shoots, buds and male flowers of Maritime Pine (Pinus pinaster), Stone Pine (Pinus pinea), possibly on Scots Pine (Pinus sylvestris)

Aston's Additions : Specimens were swept by C. Morley and P. J. Burton on 6.vi.1948 from spruce in Blythburgh Wood and were determined by Mr. Rait-Smith (Trans.S.N.S., Vol. VI, pt. III, p. 250).

Wingspan details : Wingspan 12-15mm
