Flight Period : Single-brooded; July

Larval foodplants : On the needles of Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis), larches (Larix), pines (Pinus) and less often on Silver fir (Abies alba)

Records : Knettishall Heath (M R Hall & S Ward, 26.vii.2001)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Discovered at Orford in July 1902, and at Felixstow the next year, by Gibbs (EMM. 1904, 80). Bentley Woods in 1933 (Mly).
