Local Status : Resident (SMP Status 4) Distribution and abundance : Rare Habitats : Woodland containing larch Flight Period : Single-brooded; July Larval foodplants : On the needles of Sitka Spruce (Picea sitchensis), larches (Larix), pines (Pinus) and less often on Silver fir (Abies alba) Records : Knettishall Heath (M R Hall & S Ward, 26.vii.2001) Morley's Final Catalogue : Discovered at Orford in July 1902, and at Felixstow the next year, by Gibbs (EMM. 1904, 80).
