Habitats : Damp grassland, fens, river and stream banks

Flight Period : Single-brooded; June to August

Larval foodplants : On the leaves of White Willow (Salix alba) and Crack Willow (Salix fragilis)

Records : Mildenhall (SMG, 24.vii.1999), Thelnetham Fens (SMG, 28.vii.2000)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Local on Salix : three captured on trunks of old willows near Bury during 1911-12 (Nurse, Ent. 1913, 195).

Wingspan details : Wingspan 17-21mm
