Larval foodplants : On the fruits and leaves of apples (Malus), pears (Pyrus), cherries and blackthorn (Prunus) and a wide variety of other plants and trees

Records : Walberswick (1969; H E Chipperfield, 11.ix.1979), Beccles (N Muddeman, 1998), Landguard Common (N Odin & M Marsh, 1999-2000, 2002-5), Denham (N Whinney, 27.viii.2002)

Wingspan details : Wingspan male 15-19mm, female 18-22mm
