Larval foodplants : In the flower- and seed-heads of Wild Carrot (Daucus carota) and less often Hog's Fennel (Peucedanum officinale)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Noticed only along our coast-line, where it is frequent Orford in July 1902 (Gbs); Aldeburgh in 1892 (Ctw); Leiston (B.de Grey); Dunwich (Ctw); on Conium maculatum at Southwold in July 1903 (Mly); and larvae in wild carrot at Lowestoft (Bd).
