Habitats : Grassland, scrub, open woodland, heathland, waste ground

Flight Period : Double-brooded; May to July and mid-July to August, possible partial third brood in September

Larval foodplants : In the flower- and seed-heads of Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), knapweeds (Centaurea) and Corn Chamomile (Anthemis arvensis)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Ipswich during June 1895 (C. A. Pyett).

Wingspan details : Wingspan 12-18mm
