Habitats : Chalk grassland

Flight Period : Single-brooded; June to August

Larval foodplants : In the roots of Field Scabious (Knautia arvensis) and scabious (Scabiosa)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Apparently confined to the Breck with us. Tuddenham (Wm), often in chalk-pits (Barrett); Brandon in May 1930 (Mly); common on Breck-sands, 1885 (Farren, Ent. 1886, 110).
