Larval foodplants : Leaves and shoots of elms (Ulmus), Black Poplar (Populus nigra) and Bird Cherry (Prunus padus)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Rare, local and confined in Britain to mid-east England. One specimen was taken at Icklingham about 1870 (Revd. A. H. Wratislaw). Larvae said to feed in elm-bark.
