Distribution and abundance : Rare

Habitats : Gravel quarry

Flight Period : Probably double-brooded, late May to September

Larval foodplants : Hoary Mullein (Verbascum pulverulentum)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Very local and confined in Britain to EAnglia; larvae in web on Verbascum. No records emerge since Frank Norgate found the species about 1899 "abundant in my garden at Bury St. Edmunds," which was near the Abbot's West-gate Cross (Mly).
