Distribution and abundance : Rare

Habitats : Woodland and river-banks

Flight Period : Single-brooded, June to July

Larval foodplants : Aspen (Populus tremula), White Poplar (Populus alba) or Grey Poplar (Populus canescens)

Morley's Final Catalogue : A local kind, extending north to only Norfolk; on poplar. Discovered with us at Orford during July 1902 (Gibbs). Barton Mills in 1933 (Whit).
