Local Status : Resident (SMP Status 3)

Distribution and abundance : Local, mainly Brecks and Sandlings

Habitats : Breckland, heathland, woodland and moorland

Flight Period : Double-brooded, May and August. Local data suggests a single-brood from July to early September

Larval foodplants : Sheep's Sorrel (Rumex acetosella)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Bentley Woods on gravel in May 1930 (Mly); Leiston (Grey); Southwold (Ctw); Lowestoft (Bd). Frequently seen on the Breck at Freckenham, Brandon, &c. (Mly).
