Distribution and abundance : Not uncommon

Habitats : Woodland, heathland, scrub and fen

Flight Period : Single-brooded, late June to mid-August

Larval foodplants : Honeysuckle (Lonicera periclymenum), Fly Honeysuckle (Lonicera xylosteum) or Snowberry (Symphoricarpos rivularis)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Feeds on honeysuckle. Found at Lowestoft in July (Bd) and at light beside Fritton Lake in August 1935 (Mly).
