Habitats : Herb-rich grassland and chalk downland, meadows and pasture on light soils

Flight Period : Single-brooded, late June to September

Larval foodplants : Pignut (Conopodium majus), less often on Wild Carrot (Daucus carota), Burnet-saxifrage (Pimpinella saxifraga), occasionally Spignel (Meum athamanticum) or Moon Carrot (Seseli libanotis)
