Larval foodplants : Tufted Hair-grass (Deschampsia cespitosa), or less often Sweet Vernal-grass (Anthoxanthum odoratum), Smooth Meadow-grass ((Poa pratensis), bent (Agrostis), fescue (Festuca), soft-grass (Holcus) or sedge (Carex), mining the leaves
