Habitats : Woodland margins and clearings

Flight Period : Single-brooded, late April to June, sometimes a partial second brood in August

Larval foodplants : various grasses, especially Cock's-foot (Dactylis glomerata) and Creeping Soft-grass (Holcus mollis), mining the leaves

Morley's Final Catalogue : Added from Hemley in 1930 by Dr. Whittingham.

Wingspan details : Wingspan 10-11mm
