Habitats : Waste ground, arable land (especially fields in which root crops are grown), old rickyards and disturbed ground

Flight Period : Single-brooded, July to August

Larval foodplants : Orache (Atriplex) or goosefoot (Chenopodium), most commonly on Fat-hen (Chenopodium album)

Records : Santon Downham (B Palmer, 1987-9), Rushmere St Andrew (J Higgott, 10.vii.2003)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Accounts for Coleophora saxicolella, C. sternipennella; C. adspersella, C. versurella, C. vestianella cannot be attributed reliably from Morley
