Distribution and abundance : Reasonably widespread and common

Flight Period : Single-brooded, July to August

Larval foodplants : Yarrow (Achillea millefolium), or Sneezewort (Achillea ptarmica)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Not uncommon among yarrow. Ipswich, Bealings, Boyton, bred in 1932-5 (Whit.); Swefling (Bloomf.); Leiston (Grey).

Wingspan details : Wingspan 9.5-13mm
