Habitats : Shady places in hedgerows and open woodland

Flight Period : SIngle-brooded, late June to July

Larval foodplants : Greater Stitchwort (Stellaria holostea) and less often on Bog Stitchwort (Stellaria alsines)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Common on stitchwort; bred at Waldringfield in 1934 (Trans. ii, clxviii); Nayland-Stoke, Ipswich and Framsden, bred (Whit).
