Larval foodplants : Birch (Betula), occasionally on Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus). On the continent also on alder (Alnus), Hazel (Corylus avellana) and Bog-myrtle (Myrica gale)

Wingspan details : Wingspan 10.5-13mm
