Larval foodplants : Varieties of rose (Rosa), locally often found on Dog Rose (Rosa canina)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Occasionally on Monks Soham windows in June 1908-34 (Mly); Glemham Magna among wild-rose (.Bloomf.); Flixton near Bungay (Ctw).

Wingspan details : Wingspan 10.5-13mm
