Habitats : Where the foodplant occurs, preferring calcareous soils

Flight Period : Single-brooded; mid-June to August

Larval foodplants : Spindle (Euonymus europaeus) or Evergreen Euonymus (Euonymus japonica)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Not very frequently seen about Euonymus round Ipswich (Mly, Pyett), but common in Bishop's garden, c. 1930 (Whit.); Orford (Gibbs), Glemham Magna (Bloomf.) and Gorleston.
