Distribution and abundance : Rare, probably under-recorded

Flight Period : Double-brooded; late May to June and August

Larval foodplants : Sallow (Salix), usually Goat Willow (Salix caprea)

Records : Thetford (A Musgrove, 22.vii.2003)

Morley's Final Catalogue : A sallow feeder, emerging during May. Bentley Woods in 1935 (Whit.) and on wild-cherry there in 1932, Parham Wood on bushes in 1934, Blythburgh on birch in 1935 (Mly).
