Habitats : Hedgerows, woodland and other places where the foodplant occurs

Flight Period : Single-brooded; late May to July

Larval foodplants : Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) or Wild Plum (Prunus domestica)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Taken at Beccles in 1904 by Crowfoot (Trans. i, 36) on Gorleston palings in August and at Mildenhall in late May (Mly).

Wingspan details : Wingspan 9-10mm
