Distribution and abundance : Local, predominantly Breckland and coastal areas

Habitats : Grassland, heathland, waste ground, downland, roadside verges and coastland

Flight Period : Double-brooded; May to mid-June and July to August

Larval foodplants : Ribwort Plantain (Plantago lanceolata)

Morley's Final Catalogue : A common species on ribwort-plantain. Lowestoft (Bd); Sutton Heath and Thetford in 1932-4 (Whit) and Tuddenham (Wrn).

Wingspan details : Wingspan 10-13mm
