Habitats : Oak woodland

Flight Period : Single-brooded; a protracted flight period from late May to July, local data would suggest a flight period from May to August, possibly as two separate broods - May to mid-July and mid-July to August

Larval foodplants : oak (Quercus)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Not rare on oaks in Bentley Woods in May and early June; Shrubland, Ipswich, Leiston; frequent at light beside Fritton Lake in early August (Mly). Near Thetford.

Wingspan details : Wingspan 10-13mm
