Distribution and abundance : Widespread and not uncommon

Flight Period : Single-brooded; June

Larval foodplants : Elm (Ulmus) - English Elm (Ulmus procera) or Small-leaved Elm (Ulmus carpinifolia)

Morley's Final Catalogue : Taken twice in Ipswich (Pyett) and during 1933-5 (Whit.); on palings in Whitton village during June 1904 (Mly); a local species among elm, at Southwold on several occasions (Ctw).

Wingspan details : Wingspan 8-9mm
